The Affordable Care Act has increased the maximum reward amount for wellness programs from 20% to 30% of the cost of employees’ health coverage (more than that for programs such as smoking cessation).  Yet few employers are taking advantage of them, despite the fact that they report seeing major benefits from their existing workplace wellness programs.

There’s a small number of employers who say they weren’t even aware the incentives existed or that they had increased.  However, the reason most commonly cited for failing to amp up their programs is the hassle of juggling the additional administrative burden.

Don’t let these or other reservations prevent you from investing in your employees’ health and wellbeing.  Read more about the incentives here, and ask us how we can help meet your organization’s wellness needs.
